Hyatt Farms AR-15 Skills and Drills Class

The AR-15 Skills and Drills course is an advanced, range-only class designed to challenge your accuracy and speed in practical self-defense scenarios. This is a hands-on training session with no classroom component, beginning with a thorough safety briefing and equipment check.

Participants will run a series of dynamic drills focusing on:

• Support-side shooting
• Movement and shooting on the move
• Reload techniques
• Malfunction clearing
• Engaging targets from both static and mobile positions

Instruction emphasizes safety, precision, and rapid execution in high-stress conditions.

Pre-Requisites

To enroll, students must have completed one of the following Hyatt Farms AR-15 courses:

• Intro to AR-15
  -or-
• AR-15 Defensive Concepts

Additional requirements:

• Rifle must be zeroed prior to class
• Minimum of 400 rounds of ammunition (no green tip ammo allowed). Ammo available for sale in our Pro Shop.
• AR platform rifles or braced pistols only
• Sling required
• Magazine pouches or carriers for at least two magazines (three preferred)

Range Attire and Conditions

This class takes place entirely on the range and will run rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for weather and field conditions.

Required and recommended attire:

• Closed-toe shoes or boots (required)
• Shirt with a high neckline
• Long pants
• Hat with a bill or visor
• Gloves (recommended for weapon handling)
